CM Conrad Sangma Chairs High-Level Task Force on Tourism to Boost North East’s Regional Synergy

Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on Monday chaired the third meeting of the High-Level Task Force on Tourism in the North East Region, marking a significant step towards strengthening inter-state cooperation and unlocking the region’s immense tourism potential.

The meeting, attended by Union Minister for DoNER Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Tourism Minister G. Kishan Reddy, and other esteemed members of the task force, underscored the importance of developing the North East as a unified tourism circuit.

Discussions revolved around creating seamless connectivity, promoting eco and adventure tourism, and integrating local cultural experiences to attract both domestic and international travelers.
