The Government of Meghalaya has appointed Dr. Mazel Ampareen Lyngdoh, MIA, as Adviser to the Government of Meghalaya with the highest “Category A+” perks and facilities.
The official notification issued under No. PLA.24/2010/Pt/506 reads: “The Governor of Meghalaya is pleased to appoint Dr. Mazel Ampareen Lyngdoh, MIA, as the Adviser to the Government of Meghalaya with perks and facilities under Category-‘A+’ as specified in Finance (AF) Department Office Memorandum No. FEM.44/2003/Pt-11/264, dated 17th August, 2023 with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.”
The order, signed by C.V.D. Diengdoh, IAS, Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Planning, Investment Promotion & Sustainable Development Department, underscores Dr. Lyngdoh’s growing influence within the ruling establishment and reflects Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma’s trust in her as a key policy adviser in the MDA 2.0 Government.
