In a significant administrative development, the Governor of Meghalaya has appointed Abu Taher Mondal as the Chairman of the Meghalaya State Planning Board under Category “A+.” The appointment, carrying perks and facilities as specified in Finance (AF) Department O.M. No. FEM, 44/2003/Pt.II/264 dated August 17, 2023, will take effect from the date he assumes charge.
The official notification, signed by Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Planning, Investment Promotion & Sustainable Development Department, C.V.D. Diengdoh, formalized the appointment order.
