Senior Meghalaya BJP Legislator and Cabinet Minister Sanbor Shullai has expressed strong confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will secure a thumping majority in the upcoming Assam Assembly elections, paving the way for Himanta Biswa Sarma to once again assume the role of Chief Minister. Shullai asserted that the BJP is sweeping the state and is well-positioned to form the government with a commanding mandate.
Speaking to media persons in Shillong, Shullai said, “Himanta Biswa Sarma will once again become the chief minister of Assam. We are winning with a thumping majority in the Assam elections, because few days back we met the president of Assam state BJP, we met various political leaders of BJP. In Assam we are sweeping, we are forming the government.”
