A petrol bomb was hurled at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office at Langkyrding Mihngi around 12.05 am on Thursday by two masked people riding a scooter, with no structural damage reported.
“At 12.05am last night a petrol bomb was hurled at ED Office at Langkyrding Mihngi by two masked people in a scooty but no structural damage. The guard was inside but did not hear anything until morning. We are studying CCTV footage. Case being registered and patrolling intensified in the area,” East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police Vivek Syiem said.
Police are examining CCTV footage to identify those responsible, while a case is being registered and patrolling has been intensified in the area.
