SHILLONG, APRIL 17: In a significant step towards strengthening institutional welfare and expanding academic opportunities, the Meghalaya Police on Friday entered into a strategic partnership with Assam Royal Global University, aimed at enhancing access to higher education for police personnel and their families while reinforcing welfare initiatives within the force.
The agreement was signed by Director General of Police, Meghalaya, Smti. Idashisha Nongrang, IPS, and Prof. (Dr.) D. N. Singh, Registrar Academics, Assam Royal Global University. Informing about the development, the Meghalaya Police said the initiative was aimed at “strengthening partnership for education and welfare” and noted that the collaboration seeks to expand higher education opportunities and support the well-being of the police community.
